Dear Members of the ICLS,

We wish you all a wonderful start to the academic year! This is an excellent opportunity to remind you that Encomia, the journal of our Society, would be delighted to receive your submissions.

Encomia is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. We accept articles of varying lengths, and the journal aims to represent all aspects of courtly culture, history and literature.

In particular, we welcome proposals addressing traditionally understudied topics: marginal or marginalized texts and authors, geographical and cultural areas beyond Western Europe, post-medieval representations of courtly aesthetics…Please feel free to mention Encomia to colleagues working in fields related to ours.

And, of course, we continue to encourage and welcome with the same level of interest contributions on canonical works, fields and aspects of courtly literature.
